As we enter December...Preaching the whole gospel

We had a nice Thanksgiving with some members in our Church.

Then last Wednesday we started our new series on Proverbs.

On Friday we had our fellowship meeting and discussed our vision for the church, always knowing it is "subject to change, without notice by the Holy Spirit. We must always be flexible to the Holy Spirits leading, and should He reveal to us anything we are doing or planning in our own efforts to change to His plan immediately!

We had a good turn out at Saturday's service - PTL!

Sunday morning we started a new series on "THE TABERNACLE". So with the holidays and 2 new series started I am quite busy to say the least.

So as to not leave the impression that I jump from mountain top experience to mountain top experience. The last month or so has had it's trying moments.

As do most months - LOL! But for the most part I want to blog on what God is doing and what glorifies Him. But none of us are exempt from trials and tribulations.

I still battle with my call to overseas missions, and my call to Kane, PA. Not that I doupt my call here (Kane) as God has shown me this is the missionfield He has called me to until further notice, but sometimes it seems like the American church as a whole is a feel good gospel. As much as some people want to hear that message, it is not the whole gospel. Rather desert, and does not make for healthy Christians. If I ever get to preaching what people want to hear, instead of what they need to hear, may I be smart enough to step down from ministry.

I want to preach the whole gospel (which will occasionally include desert). I believe church is to be a time of refreshing, renewal, and repentance. Or as II Tim 4:2 and Titus 2:15 puts it, it is a time of reprove, rebuke, and exhort.

To close today's blog, I would like to include a YouTube clip which may or may not be made by Christians but it sure hits home, the two prevailing views of Christians. I hope it gives you something to think about.

Is your Christianity more like this guy (right track)
or this young ladies (an unhealthy view)?

Jesus is Coming soon are we ready!
