Visit to prison and family reunion and important info

Yesterday (Thursday) I was able to go minister to 5 prisons indivually (2 women, 3 men). All have been quite receptive. Personally I believe all were since in their desires for Christ. All are also reading their Bibles. One will be moving to another prison further way, so I will not be able to visit him as much. Also got my radio broadcast done for the evening, plus visits with ministers and members. A busy day. By the time I got home for good it was around 11:00 pm. So had dinner at 11:30 pm (I know that's not good to eat that late, but I sure was hungry).

Today, beside taking care of some routine church matters, I am planning to leave this afternoon for a family reunion with family in CT. I am looking forward to that as it has been awhile since seeing my family.

So, I'll sign off now. Have a good week to you all. Hope to get a devotion up on our web by next week.

Meanwhile, there are lots of ways to stay in touch with me, which I feel is important for US.

Here are a few ways:
1. My Websites: http://www.kanepa.org/ (my church and town site)
http://www.goproclaim.com/ (overall view of my ministries)
http://www.biblefood.org/ (my devotions worldwide)
http://www.biblefood.blogspot.com/ (to read and/or add comments to devotions)
http://www.christianpoolplayers.com/ (my pool/billiards ministry nationwide)
And now this NEW BLOG: www.goproclaim.blogspot.com (which will keep you updated on a regular basis on whats go on with all the ministries I am involved in and with God is doing in my life.

Also, though I am not at my computer as much as I used to be you can e-mail me at: pastorjiminkane@verizon.net, jim@biblefood.org, jim@goproclaim.com,
and also at jim@christianpoolplayers.com

*Note: Some of these e-mails weren't working as my mailboxes were full. Their empty now so please write :-)

And my IM's, though hard to catch me in the office by IM is:
AIM (AOL) is: jmazzulla
Yahoo is: go_proclaim
ICQ is: 325011066

So I hope this information will help you all to stay in touch with me. Especially, with the blog you'll get more info on what's going on in my life and various ministries - So I do suggest using the blog as I will be updating that often (3-6 times a week).

Blessing from above to you all!

Jim :-)

Wednesday - Edifiying phone call...and journey continues

Yesterday afternoon after get up early in the morning I came home to get some rest and give my wife the car to take to "Women's Bible Study" which she teaches every Tuesday afternoon. Well I just get ready to rest and recoup a little when the phone rings, I really didn't want to pick it up as I was so tired, but I did, it was a young girl (19) who works with Teen Mania in Texas. Our church and some other Christians had met her at Aquire The Fire in Pittsburgh, Pa in early May. I was so touched by her life and zeal, that at that May gathering I asked if she would consider coming up to our church in the fall to share with our woman for our Annual Woman's Gathering (all day event - women only). She said she would pray about it. Long story short she is planning to come speak to our womans group. Yesterday, she just wanted to touch base with me, and have some phone fellowship. We talked for quite awhile and I believe we both got off the phone more encouraged in the LORD. It so blesses me to see the Youth and young adults in our nation who are sold out to Jesus.

I also read yesterday from a book on the subject of GENEROSITY, I think it was the best article on the subject - I look forward to sharing it with my church and you all in God's time :-)

Today was a great but routine day (if there is such a thing). More could be said, but I need to go and work on my radio message for Sunday.

Also, tomorrow I go minister one-to-one with some people in a nearby prison. This is a new ministry for me. Maybe, I'll get to share more on that with you all soon too.

God bless you all,
Jim

Welcome to my Journey

Jim’s blog originally written 7-24-07 4:00 am

I’ve been wanting to write a daily blog,
maybe this early morning is the start of it.
I will try to be careful with using names as
this will be posted for all to see.

I’m not a morning person, but when God wakes me at 3:00 and I can’t get back to sleep I figure it is a God thing.

First things first, Thank you Lord for this quiet, peaceful morning.

People on my heart that I lift now in prayer:

Ishfaq Boby – Protect him and anoint him even this day and at this moment in his ministry in Pakistan.

I lift up a new couple (Lord you know their names), help them to continue to grow in your Word and in obedience to you. It is exciting for me to see their hunger for God. Please use me to minister your truths to their lives.

I thank you especially for what you are doing with one of my members in her prison job (ministry). I lift her job up to you as she seeks guidance for more direction in the prison ministry. Also LORD you know prison ministry has always been way out of my comfort zone, yet I have just started ministering to two prisoners, help me to show them Christ, as they are seekers (or new believers). Help me to speak words from you when I see them this week.

Our church steps out in a couple weeks to rent upstairs apartment to help a member and to turn some of the space into needed Sunday School and Nursery rooms. This is definetly a step of faith as it requires more income. Also, we have stepped out in faith and are on the radio now. It too requires extra funds. From the natural standpoint the church will pay it’s bill’s but if anything would be effected it would be my parsonage allowance, and Joyce and I already need God’s help in that area as our income is quite low since our move to Kane, PA. We really have fought the temptation to have me work full-time in a secular job as we feel God has called me to full-time ministry, paid or not. We must ultimately trust Him as provider, and pray that He will speak to hearts to catch our vision for GPM (BF and CPPA) and also of our vison for Kane, PA and Community Fellowship.

So as I start this day these are the early morning thoughts and concerns I bring before my LORD.

I think I’ll stop this blog for now and spend some time in the Word (Bible) and prayer… Jim :-)
